Potgrown Christmas trees
Several Danish nurseries and producers also specialise in producing potted Christmas trees. With such success that the tree after use can be planted outdoors and continue growing.
Production is carried out by planting the 3 to 4 year old plants in pots, where they continue to grow until they are taken up for sale 3 to 4 years later. This type of cultivation demands special techniques and experience, especially in the case of Nordmann fir which has a taproot system which makes it difficult to grow in pots.
The trees are supplied in 5, 7.5 and 10 litre pots, depending on size. The trees are delivered wrapped in net, as with regular Christmas trees.
Potted trees are delivered either on disposable CT pallets or via cc container, or another method agreed upon.
Potted Nordmann firs
Potted Nordmann firs are usually supplied in 60 to 80 cm, 80 to 100 cm and 100 to 120 cm height ranges. The 3 to 4 year old plants used in production are often especially fine plants, enabling a very rapid achievement of the desired end result.
Other pot-grown varieties
We supply pot-grown Blue spruce (Picea Pungens Glauca), Serbian spruce (Picea Omorika), Norway spruce (Picea Abies) as well as other varieties, depending on current possibilities.
